Raksha Shakti University holds round table conference for CAPFs

AHMEDABAD: Raksha Shakti University (RSU) on Friday held a round table conference on 'Educational Needs of Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs)' in Ahmedabad, where representatives of seven CAPFs participated.The conference was chaired by RSU director Vikas Sahay and was attended by training heads and senior officers from the CAPFs including RP Udit, commandant (training), FHQ, Border Security Force (BSF); Gorakh Singh, GSO-1, Assam Rifles; Sandeep Khosla, DIG, Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP); PK Gupta, DIG (training) FHQ, Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB); RK Sharma, DIG, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and Raj Mohan P, senior DSC, Railway Protection Force (RPF).The officials deliberated on contemporary educational needs of their forces and academic programmes which can be run by RSU for them keeping an eye on the future scenario.
